National land access and valuations firm Maloney Field Services says it is looking to establish a permanent office in Perth as it continues its expansion into Western Australia.
Maloney said it had recently won a major valuation project with Panoramic Gold, on the back of a similar deal with Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines.
The firm's managing director, Peta Mantzarapis, said the increased demand for Maloney's services warranted a permanent Perth office.
"Our team is extremely busy right across Australia, but increasingly so in the west," Ms Mantazarapis said.
"WA is a key market for us and one we are targeting strong growth in over the coming years."
Maloney, which is on track to turn over $8.5 million this year is headquartered in Adelaide, with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Darwin and Newcastle.
It also recently announced deals with Australian submarine and shipbuilding company ASC to undertake property, plant and equipment valuations, in addition to a similar deal with food and agribusiness group Craig Mostyn.
"Our valuation division was boosted last year when we recruited the entire eight-member former South Australian office of Rushton Valuers, which among other things boosted our plant and equipment capabilities," Ms Mantazarapis said.
"We have also further expanded our valuation team with two additional valuers commencing in May."
