Malone makes it online

FOR a man who has made his fortune out of the internet, it was good to see iiNet founder Michael Malone saw the humour this week in a website The Note stumbled upon in its daily pursuit for cyber fun. ilovemikemalone.com features pictures and even poems devoted to the iiNet founder. The Note contacted Mr Malone to tell him of his new found fame, especially considering that our research showed the domain names for arguably more high profile execs were up for grabs, including ilovemichaelchaney.com and iloveandrewforrest.com. Mr Malone had no idea who posted the love-in site, though records point to WA internet company Zoob. A humble Mr Malone highlighted that he had yet to make it on to online encyclopedia wikipedia.com, which he reckons is a more legitimate gauge of public awareness. For the record, Mr Chaney has a wikipedia entry, but Mr Forrest doesn’t.
