A CONTINGENT of WA tourism suppliers is exposing its wares to the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents at the Putra World Trade Centre.
The contingent includes a wildlife park, tourism associations, accommodation and car rental companies and tour and cruise companies. For the next four months, two carriages of an inner city Kuala Lumpur train will be branded inside and out with images of The Pinnacles and other WA tourism icons.
Following the travel fair, the WA Tourism Commission office in Kuala Lumpur will hold a trade seminar and launch a new e-newsletter designed specifically for the Malaysia/Brunei travel trade market.
Around 40,000 Malaysians visited WA in 2001-02, contributing $64 million to the local economy.
