Macmahon preferred for Moreton job

Moreton Resources has named Perth-based Macmahon Holdings as the preferred mining partner for its South Burnett coal project.

The selection marks the conclusion of a lengthy process and will see Macmahon partner with its fully owned subsidiary MRV Tarong Basin Coal to advance the project.

"The intention of the board is to now enter into a formal alliance arrangement with Macmahon to provide mining services over the first 5 years of the South Burnett Project," Moreton said in a statement.
