MRA releases 312 William Street to market

The Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority is seeking offers for a prime retail property on William Street.

The MRA announced yesterday that the 279 square metre heritage building 312 William Street was available to purchase.

The property, which is zoned mixed-use, comprises two commercial premises at 165sqm and 125sqm, respectively, with a common area of 99sqm.

An offers to purchase campaign will be run by Colliers International, closing on June 19.

The William Street retail precinct has been a focus for the MRA for more than 7 years, following its acquisition of 16 properties in the area.

The heritage-listed properties have all since been refurbished, with the MRA focusing on attracting bespoke fashion retailers as well as food and beverage operators.

In 2012, the MRA was a joint winner at the State Heritage Awards for its William Street revitalisation project.
