The acquisition will see the commercial and industrial real estate firm establish a presence in Bunbury.
MLV Real Estate has bought Bunbury firm Commercial Realty, giving the commercial and industrial property group a presence in the South West town.
The acquisition, which took effect today, will result in the staff of the two companies combining to form a team of more than 25.
Both companies will retain their names, with MLV Real Estate managing director Dave Lamb today appointed as principal licensee of Commercial Realty.
Commercial Realty principal Mike Jenkins will remain in charge of daily operations of the Bunbury business.
Mr Lamb said the partnership between the two companies would allow MLV to expand its service offering.
“In a robust market it is essential that we create strong opportunities for clients – and expanding our services to Bunbury will allow us to continue to do just that,” said Mr Lamb.
“Mike and his team have the local expertise we require. Our firm focus is on using this partnership to leverage the strengths of both businesses for the benefit of clients.”
Mr Jenkins described the connection between the two groups as a natural fit.
“This partnership will propel Commercial Realty forward, enabling us to improve the service and expertise we offer our clients.”
