MACA wins $42m Main Roads deal

A consortium led by civil and mining contractor MACA has won a $42 million deal for a pair of road upgrade projects with Main Roads Western Australia.

MACA announced today it would complete upgrades for the Goldfields Highway and Wubin-Mullewa roads.

The consortium comprises Main Roads, MACA’s civil construction division and AECOM.

Work is expected to kick off in May, with the job scheduled to be complete within 18 months.

At 1:30PM, WST, MACA shares were up 1.45 per cent, trading at $2.80.
