Tim Lyons founded Porter Western in the mid-1980s before it merged with Macquarie in 1999.

Prior to Tim's appointment, Dalton Gooding was acting chairman.
Simon Lyons told WA Business News the firm is still recruiting with the firm looking to bolster its corporate and institutional divisions.
