LogiCamms said today it had been awarded four contracts by Sandvik for engineering works associated with eight new mobile machines to be supplied to Rio Tinto for expansions at Cape Lambert and Hope Downs in Western Australia.

The company also received an order from South Africa-based Sandvik RSA for engineering works associated with 14 new and existing mobile machines to be supplied to Assmang for expansion works at their Khumani mine in South Africa.

The contracts will be LogiCamms' first to be undertaken in South Africa.

Collectively the deals are worth around $4.5 million, excluding commissioning services.

LogiCamms' managing director, Adam Keats, said the awards reflected the company's long standing relationships and industry leading expertise gathered over the past 15 years in this niche market.

"We are delighted to continue our long standing relationship with Sandvik and look forward to delivering outstanding project results on both continents," Mr Keats said.

At close of trade today, LogiCamms had gained 4.9 per cent, to trade at $1.70
