Perth-based engineering and mining services provider LogiCamms has won an $8.5 million deal to upgrade control systems for the coal handling preparation plant at Stanwell Corporation’s Meandu mine in Queensland.
Work will commence immediately, continuing for approximately 18 months, LogiCamms said.
The scope of work includes design, installation, factory and site testing, commissioning and operator training.
“We are pleased to be working with Stanwell Corporation to deliver the Meandu CHPP control system upgrade, for which LogiCamms will draw on its extensive coal industry experience across multiple disciplnes, as well as a strong understanding of delivering projects in brownfield environments,” LogiCamms managing director Steve Banning said.
“The award of this contract is further evidence of our capability in assisting clients to enhance the long-term value of their existing operational assets.”
At 12:00PM, WST, LogiCamms stocks were up 5.7 per cent, trading at $1.10.
