The Western Australian Local Government Association will hold its Regional Cooperation and Structural Reform Forum on Monday November 1 at the Burswood Convention Centre.
Former Premier of Victoria the Hon Jeff Kennett will address the forum, which will examine and discuss ways to enhance the social, financial, environmental and economic development capacity of Local Government in Western Australia.
The forum was organised following the Association’s Annual General Meeting in August in response to issues such as regional cooperation, structural reform processes, financial assistance grants and current State and Commonwealth Services delivery structures.
Guest speakers at the forum will include City of Onkaparinga South Australia chief executive officer Jeff Tate, Corporation of the Town of Walkerville South Australia Mayor John Rich, Wellington Blaney Cabonne Strategic Alliance New South Wales secretary Don Ramsland and Local Government Advisory Board WA chair Charlie Gregorini.
Registrations can be made with Western Australian Local Government Association.
