Listed Contact to target greenfields

AFTER raising $3 million, Perth-based Contact Resources was scheduled to join the Australian Stock Exchange lists this week with a $1 million annual budget to spend on some of Western Australia’s most under-explored mineral acreage.“Most of our projects – while located in or close to proven mineralisation – have not been subjected to any modern exploration or drilling of any consequence,” Contact Resources executive chairman Ron Gajewski said. Main exploration projects include the Collurabbie nickel prospect, surrounding the recent Falcon Minerals/WMC Resources nickel sulphide discovery in central WA, the 51 per cent owned Parry Range copper project in the Ashburton area and the Coobina chromite project, located south-east of Newman.
