Lend Lease wins $62m freeway deal

Lend Lease has been selected to expand the Kwinana Freeway south of Roe Highway, in a $62 million contract announced by the state and federal governments today.

Northbound needs to be done as well!!!!! Traffic builds constantly heading to Roe Hwy due to the hill leading up to it and drivers not anticipating their speed reducing. Combine this with merging traffic from Armadale Road and Berrigan Drive, it appears to be the reason for traffic building up as far back as Russell Rd. Can these problems not be predicted before construction so that we are not constantly playing catch up. This should have been done at the same time as the first expansion to Roe Hwy from the north!!!!!
