A 4.1 hectare site surrounding the Water Corporation’s headquarters in Leederville has just hit the market, with Knight Frank calling for expressions of interest from developers.
The site, located on the corner of Loftus and Newcastle streets, has already been granted conditional approval for the construction of 240 residential units, over 80,000 square metres of office space, 1540sqm of retail and 927sqm of hospitality developments.
Knight Frank managing director John Corbett said the site could incorporate a building of up to 24 storeys under the Leederville Master Plan.
“An approval is also in place for a 9,718 sqm, 5-star Green Star extension of the John Tonkin Water Centre that includes a child care facility,” Mr Corbett said.
The property will be sold via expressions of interest closing May 2.
