Learning from leaders

PERTH will be part of a national first next month when the city is included in the presentations of 11 world-renowned thought leaders and influencers, including former South African President, Nelson Mandela.

The Brave New Workplace: Strategies to Excel in a World of Change is an Australian-first conference providing an invaluable opportunity to learn leadership skills.

It boasts one of the most extensive panels of international experts ever formed. Other presenters include best-selling author Dr Stephen Covey, Intel Corporation co-founder Andy Grove and Dr Martha Rogers.

The presentation is part of the Worldwide Lessons in Leadership Series, which is internationally recognised as the best source of leading-edge ideas. It is designed to build leadership qualities in everyone who attends, regardless of job title or organisational level.

It will be broadcast direct via satellite across Australia on November 16. WA’s telecast will be at the Perth Hyatt Regency, Grand Ballroom, from 7.30am until 2.15pm.

Presenter Dr Rogers is the co-founder of Peppers and Rogers Group, an international management consulting and media firm that develops, implements and communicates customer-focused business strategies.

She predicts that this new Age of Interactivity will push businesses into a mode of “survival of the fittest”.
