The Institute for International Research will hold Leadership Skills for Women over November 11 and 12 at the Mercure Hotel Perth.
The two-day workshop will be facilitated by executive coach and author Jenny Strachan and is designed for regional and area managers, managers and directors of finance, operations, marketing, communication, sales and human resources, corporate finance treasury, legal, and business analysts, engineers, scientists, IT and other technical specialists, projects and contracts managers, and manufacturing, product, logistics and facilities managers.
Over the two days attendees will learn how use their understanding of the new leadership paradigm in conjunction with personal styles to effectively influence others in the work environment, confidently and effectively lead high performance teams, learn how to build sustainable relationships with peers, mentors, senior managers, and within teams, to achieve corporate goals and reflect on your leadership style and how it affects the success of your organisation and develop strategies to enhance career progression.
Additional outcomes include planning and organising leadership careers by capitalising on existing networks and learning specific interpersonal communication skills to effectively influence senior management and promote a corporate image that enhances career development.
