Lauren Elliott has received production credits for Small Town Hackers, The Shapes and The Write Stuff with Noel and Carl Pennyman.

Business News 40under40 winner Lauren Elliott has announced the launch of Galactic Baby, a new production company based in Western Australia.

Ms Elliott previously spent seven years with Mad Kids, and received production credits for her work on Small Town Hackers, The Shapes and The Write Stuff with Noel and Carl Pennyman.

Her new company will specialise in the development and production of scripted film and television series, and will help develop the debut feature films of award-winning writers and directors Henry Inglis and Zoe Pepper.

In a statement, Ms Pepper called Ms Elliott a creative producer who brought both creativity and strategy to the table.

“Once she gets behind a project she's unstoppable, so I'm so glad we're working together on our first feature,” she said.

Mad Kids will release its final project, five-part series KGB, this Sunday.
