State government land development agency LandCorp has shortlisted four advertising agencies after reviewing its advertising relationships and media spend.
The two incumbent agencies, The Brand Agency and Marketforce, have been joined by 303 and AdCorp on the pitch list.
LandCorp is considered a key WA government account to have on the books.
The original tender document values the account at $3.3 million per annum.
Marketforce general manager, Carrick Robinson is happy to be on the shortlist but isn't celebrating just yet.
"We put up a very good show and responded to the second stage brief very well under the time constraints," Mr Robinson told WA Business News.
"And I'm as confident as an incumbent can be, knowing the market is forever changing."
Mr Robinson said the LandCorp account is very well regarded in WA's advertising industry.
"It's one of the bigger and more important government clients," he said.
"Its got a job to do for the government in terms of land disposal and development, and it's a high volume production account, so you can really showcase your thinking.
"It's very important to have it on account."
