Peter King has joined Ronald McDonald House Perth as its new executive officer, following the resignation of Alison Salmond, who held the role for seven years.
The move comes at a crucial time for the charity, with construction well under way for the new $27 million Ronald McDonald House located alongside the new Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands.
Mr King was previously the executive manager corporate services at government-funded Richmond Fellowship of Australia, which provides accommodation and support services to people with mental illness.
Mr King also spent 15 years in various executive and management roles at St John Ambulance, and is currently a non-executive director at Interchange WA.
