Perth business Kinetic IT has scored another major contract from the state government, involving ICT services at Department of Communities sites across Western Australia.

The work is part of a larger $76.6 million contract with Adelaide-based Datacom Systems, awarded by the department in November, with Kinetic's share worth $72.3 million.

Both companies will provide end-user delivery services, hybrid cloud infrastructure management services and security management services to the department until December 2024.

Those services can be extended until December 2026, according to Tenders WA.

It follows a $504 million contract awarded to Kinetic's joint venture with Perth-based ASG Group in June, which involves ICT services to schools and support staff throughout WA.

The JV also included local subcontractors Campfire (formerly Permeance Technologies) and Systemic.
