Board movements

Aspermont has appointed London-based Alex Kent as managing director, following the resignation of chief executive officer Colm O'Brien, who remains as a director. Mr Kent joined Aspermont in 2007 and was most recently executive director and chief marketing officer. He is the son of Aspermont chairman and majority shareholder Andrew Kent.

Scotgold Resources has appointed non-executive director and major shareholder Nathaniel le Roux as chairman. Mr le Roux is the former chief executive of IG Group and is currently an independent director of the London Metal Exchange.

Paul Kopejtka has joined MHM Metals as an independent non-executive director. Mr Kopejtka is currently executive chairman of Ascot Resources and a former executive chairman of Murchison Metals. MHM chairman Iain Kirkwood has resigned.

Name change

The Centre for Cerebral Palsy is now known as the Ability Centre.
