Former Fremantle Dockers ruckman Justin Longmuir has joined the coaching staff of cross-town rivals West Coast Eagles.
Longmuir has signed on as a development coach.
Longmuir has worked within the Fremantle recruiting and coaching structure for the last three years and will have a key role with the club's young list.
He played 139 games for the Dockers in nine seasons before his career was cut short by injury.
"It is a really exciting opportunity for me and I am looking forward to working with John Worsfold and the rest of the coaching group to push West Coast up the ladder," Longmuir said.
"I believe West Coast has some outstanding young players who are poised to have a strong impact on the competition and I am keen to get involved in their development.
"The club regularly fielded the youngest team of the round in 2010 and it is going to be exciting to play a part in their evolution."
