The total number of dwellings approved, seasonally adjusted, has increased by 20 per cent over the last 18 months. Since June 1998, total dwellings approved has increased by 13.7 per cent in WA compared with a 3.3 per cent decrease for Australia as a whole.
The north metropolitan area of Joondalup, Stir-ling and Wanneroo enjoyed most activity.
