On Friday November 28 Austrade and Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) are holding a seminar titled The New Japan – How To Succeed and Do Business There, at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel.
The seminar has been designed to provide participants with the chance to gain an in-depth perspective of how they can establish or expand a business presence in Japan, and will examine areas such as what has changed in Japan, how savvy Australian companies are succeeding and how Austrade and JETRO can help to capture business opportunities.
Keynote speakers for the seminar include Austrade senior trade commissioner – Fukuoka, Japan Phil Ingram; JETRO Sydney senior trade adviser Yasushi Kowata; JETRO Melbourne invest in Japan adviser Ken Sakurai; Development Bank of Japan deputy chief representative Fumiyo Harada; and Formation Design Systems director Philip Christensen.
