JV Global acquires brick technology

STEEL building product manufacturer JV Global has announced the acquisition of the equipment, inventories and technology associated with the manufacture of Besta Interlocking Bricks. The brick technology involves the manufacture of machinery that produces a range of low-cost earthquake- and cyclone-resistant bricks suitable for the construction of residential and commercial buildings, according to JV. Innovative technology enables the bricks to be made in the factory or by a mobile machine, which can be towed to various locations enabling production of bricks on site, the company said.
