JMG Marketing has retained the $1.9 million Statewest account.
The credit union put the account out for a competitive review and, according to Statewest marketing manager Paul Simpson, the JMG Marketing creative and strategic pitch was chosen and will form the basis of new campaign work this year.
“They worked really hard on it and it’s often difficult for the current incumbent to win the contract,” Mr Simpson said. “This is a big account win. I’d say it is one of the biggest accounts that went to tender this year.”
303 Advertising and Gatecrasher Advertising were short-listed to pitch for the account to be involved in the review.
