JOHN Davis Advertising has won accounts for Perth Zoo, Mount Hospital and Clairault Wines, beating submissions from Vinten Browning, MJB&B and Bowtell, Clarke and Yole.
JDA general manager Julian Donaldson said there would be a synergy between this account and JDA’s conservation and preservation campaigns with the Keep Australia Beautiful Council, and Conservation and Land Management.
The company will handle specialised marketing projects for the Mount Hospital including the marketing of sub-brands.
The wins follow JDA’s loss of its Perth City Council account to Marketforce.
PCC was one of JDA’s main clients for around 13 years and won a number of awards for its campaigns.
Marketforce managing director Iain Rowe said while the value of the account had not yet been clarified, it was probably in the vicinity of more than $1 million.
Perth City Councillor Bert Tudori said the decision was made by five of the nine PCC councillors that attended presentations by AdlinkJLS, Marketforce and JDA.
"There was no doubt in my mind the Marketforce presentation was the superior one," Mr Tudori said.
"I was very impressed with their research about public perceptions of the council.”
