On Wednesday May 12 the Securities Institute is conducting a seminar titled Investing in Shares at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel.
The seminar is part of Finance and Investment Week, organised by the Securities Institute and will feature presentations from Ian Clarke of Macquarie Financial Services, who will speak about valuing shares and when to buy and when to sell; Heather Zampatti from Bell Potter Securities who will talk about IPO’s and how to pick a good one; Philip McCall from Goldman Sachs JBWere who will discuss margin lending and borrowing to purchase shares; and ASIC regional commissioner Michael Gething who will present on the topic of scams, traps and tips for investing in shares.
