IN India during a tour of SE Asia and East Asia last week Trade Minister Mark Vaile led a delegation of more than 35 Australian companies that participated in the 14th India-Australia joint business council meeting.
Mr Vaile said a number of specific issues of concern to Australian exporters were raised. These included lowering India’s tariffs on health and medical equipment, coal, wool, wine and other agricultural products. Clough Offshore developed some new linkages with the Indian oil and gas market as a result of the visit.
