In Brief

CHAS Hopkins has entered the race for Mayor of Perth, the third challenger to incumbent Peter Nattrass. The proprietor of an East Perth-based office furniture company Mr Hopkins previously held the title for three years ending 1991. He said he would campaign  to get more car parking in the city and wants to see more business in the city.

“If you are bringing this rail infrastructure you have to have workers come into the city not Osborne Park,” Mr Hopkins said.
