IT Planning Seminar

The Australian Computer Society are holding a seminar entitled From Go-Go to No-Go The Need for Agile IT Planning, on Tuesday February 18, at the Holiday Inn, Perth. The seminar will be presented by Chris Webb, senior manager, Business Advisory Service at Ernst and Young, who will provide an update on local and global IT trends as well as an overview of some strategic IT planning trends that are likely to mature during 2003. During the presentation Chris Webb will also address the recently released report Industry Re-Boot 2003the third instalment of a four year global study which is seen as a powerful tracker of wider industry trends, and will cover areas such as the impacts of broadband, the post dot com shift of power back from CIO to CFO and operational efficiency the IT Planning mantra for 2003.
