Industrial software provider ISS Group has signed a $2 million contract with an Egyptian company over its BabelFish Suite of products and associated services.
The announcement is below:
ISS Group Limited (ASX:ISS) is pleased to announce that Egyptian Operating Company for Natural Gas Liquefaction (ELNG) has signed a Contract for the BabelFish Suite of products and associated services to the value of approximately AUD$ 2,000,000 (AUD $1,300,000 in the first year, and a further AUD$ 700,000 covering maintenance and support over a 5 year period) for a Plant Information Management System (PIMS). The BabelFish solution will provide ELNG personnel with an integrated view of plant operations from planning to shipping.
The BabelFish PIMS solution will give plant personnel web access to plant data on their personal computers with projected benefits including:
- Single source for all plant information management
- Compliance with ELNG commercial and reporting commitments
- 24 hour technical support to plant operations
- Enhanced decision making processes.
ELNG is looking to implement an automated system to ensure high data reliability and strengthen the effectiveness of the operating processes executed by plant staff & management. BabelFish supported these requirements and with additional benefits, will support ELNG's PIMS business strategy for a comprehensive view of their entire plant data.
