Belmont-based Industrial Recruitment Partners, Mills Resources and LNG Recruitment are among a panel of companies selected as preferred suppliers for recruitment services by the WA Local Government Association.

As preferred suppliers, the companies will be tasked with sourcing, screening and selecting workers across a range of local government sectors.

WALGA has selected a variety of companies for each of the six categories.

IRP has been selected to provide recruitment within corporate and governance, engineering and infrastructure, parks and garden operations and fleet, waste and works operations.

Central to this nomination was the decision by IRP in 2017 to increase its depth of knowledge within the local government sector with the appointment of senior recruitment consultant Kate Barr. Ms Barr brought with her 15 years of recruitment experience with a significant focus on local government clients where she managed both white and blue collar positions across Western Australia.

IRP managing director Peter Spark said it was pleasing to have been appointed to the panel.

“We are delighted to be awarded as a member of the hiring panel. IRP’s experience, knowledge and systems will assist in streamlining the sourcing and hiring of workers across the WA local government sector,” he said.

Subiaco-based Mills has been appointed to all six categories, along with Synaco Global Recruitment, DFP Recruitment, 2XM Recruit and Lo-Go Appointments.

LNG will work across three categories.
