IRC boosts client safety support

IRC is further expanding its safety and risk support to the oil and gas industry through the appointments of Gerry Burke and Glenn Cooke. Mr Burke is joining IRC Perth as technical director safety and risk. He was previously with Atkins Process in Aberdeen as head of safety.

Mr Burke, who is a qualified engineer with a Masters in Fire Safety Engineering, has two decades’ experience in the construction, mining, nuclear, defence, petrochemical and oil and gas industries.

Mr Cooke has joined IRC in Houston as technical director safety and risk.

He is a qualified chemical engineer who has worked in the North Sea, and who has more than 14 years’ experience in the chemical, petrochemical and oil and gas industries.
