PERTH-based e-commerce service provider IPT Systems has formed an alliance with Internet-based B2B venture Hypertrade, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gold Partners Ltd, to supply its global B2B exchange.
Hypertrade has exclusive access for five years with accounting firm AGN International to create a global e-commerce village among AGN’s three million SME members.
Hypertrade and IPT Systems alliance plan to secure about 100,000 clients from AGN’s member base.
The AGN membership includes 325 member offices in more than 70 countries, with a high concentration of member firms in the US and UK.
The average annual turnover of member firms is estimated to be US$5 million to US$8 million, and this is significant to IPT as a major component of revenues earned are proportional to the volume of individual business transactions.
IPT Systems CEO Adrian Floate said the alliance with Hypertrade provided a global distribution channel that would accelerate IPT’s international expansion while consolidating its position in Australia’s SME sector.
“Our technology is particularly well suited to the SME market due to its plug ‘n’ play delivery of
e-commerce,” Mr Floate said.
He will speak at the I-tex conference in Perth on November 20 and 21.
