Minderoo Group chief investment officer Aaron Hood has resigned from the company to take up a new position at a Melbourne-based private equity firm. Owen Hegarty-chaired EMR Capital has appointed Mr Hood as it's new director, corporate finance. He has served in his role at Minderoo since 2014, and also holds senior positions within subsidiaries of the group. These positions include non-executive chair of Harvey Beef, and director, corporate development for Squadron Resources, Minderoo's venture capital arm. Mr Hood was previously an executive director of private equity group Catalyst Investment Managers, having established its Perth office in 2012. In that role, he led investments in Bhagwan Marine and Vesco Foods.
