Alcoa Wagerup refinery manager Mark Hodgson has been appointed Australian lead for the Employees at Alcoa for Gay and Lesbian Equality (Eagle).

Eagle is one of several employee affiliation groups Alcoa of Australia encourages as part of its commitment to creating a work environment that fosters diversity and inclusion.

Mr Hodgson, who has worked with Alcoa since 2003, volunteered to lead the national support and networking group, which recently marched in the Pride Parade in Northbridge, making Alcoa the first resources company in WA to participate.
