Long-running chief executive David Hobbs has announced his resignation from Western Australia’s largest residential real estate group, Professionals.
Mr Hobbs, who has been chief executive of the real estate agency in WA and the NT for the past six years, said he would like to pursue new opportunities.
He said he joined the professionals at a challenging time for the real estate industry in 2007, with the onset of the global financial crisis.
“Over the last six years, I am pleased to have assisted the Professionals to become the largest real estate group in Western Australia with an annual turnover over $1.7 billion and management of more than 17,000 properties,” Mr Hobbs said in a statement.
Mr Hobbs said working with the Professionals had been a rewarding experience.
He will step down from the role in mid-November.
