DEFENCE fundraising and volunteer organisation, Army Art Show, is teaming with newly established Fremantle Foundation to raise money for local women in need.
The Army Art Show 2011 will build on the success of previous years to showcase work from more than 400 local artists and raise money for local causes including domestic violence support organisation Wyn Carr House.
“This is a great way for people to see and buy the work of quality WA artists and help out the community at the same time. I hope this year will be the biggest and best ever – the more sales there are, the more the community will benefit” Fremantle Foundation patron Peter Bell said.
The exhibition will be held at Leeuwin Barracks in East Fremantle on Friday
