Health centre sale

LYN Margolius has sold her CTA building corporate health centre to Frank Tito and Hans Butter.

The new owners, who have changed the name of the fourth-floor City Centre Fitness Club to Body Quest, are hoping to expand the operation, in cooperation with corporate wellness consultants for the CTA and Allendale Square buildings, Fit Corp.

Team building, motivational and fit camp and boot camp courses are some of the new planned services, Messrs Tito and Butter said.

Ms Margolius, a WA Business News 2003 40under40 winner, who bought the centre from Tony Sage in 2000, said she was considering other ventures in corporate wellness and lifestyle coaching.

Ms Margolius expanded the centre’s clientele base to 900 by the end of last year, working with surrounding businesses on incentive and wellness programs for their staff.

Mr Tito is involved in structuring fitness programs for WA Police Service recruits and the Tactical Response Group.

Mr Butter has been in Perth just three years, but is already renowned for his yachting expertise on his Ice Fire, and is currently WA’s only participant in this year’s Sydney-to-Hobart race.
