Phillip Harvey has been appointed chairman of the Government Employees Superannuation Board for a five-year term.
Educated at the University of Western Australia, Mr Harvey was the inaugural chief executive officer of the Gas Corporation and headed-up the team which developed the AlintaGas name.
Mr Harvey is the current chairman of LNG International Pty Ltd.
Mr Harvey has degrees in electrical engineering and commerce and holds a post-graduate diploma of numerical analysis and automatic computing. He was admitted as a fellow of the institute of Company Directors in 1988 and is currently a member of the board of trustees of United Way Australia.
