Government launches housing support

PREMIER Alan Carpenter this week announced he would spend $447 million to making housing more affordable, including establishing a Ministerial Council for land and housing supply. The government will also spend $21.1 million on developing an electronic Land Development Process, which it anticipates will allow tracking of the government approvals process and ensure that relevant agencies meet timelines for subdivision approvals.
