Golden Eagle to list on ASX

Perth-based Golden Eagle Mining has announced plans for a back-door listing on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Golden Eagle said it had executed a letter of intent with Sydney-based Welcome Stranger Mining, under which WSE will acquire all of Golden Eagle’s issued shares.

Welcome Stranger Mining, which is currently suspended from trading on the ASX, will be renamed Golden Eagle Mining if the transaction, which is still subject to several conditions, is completed.

The company will be relisted at 20 cents, should the transaction proceed.

Golden Eagle has six separate projects, spanning across four asset bases in Western Australia.

It owns the rights to explore the highly prospective North Bullabulling project area, 60 kilometres west of Kalgoorlie, and also owns tenements immediately south of Minerals and Metals Group’s Golden Grove project.
