Get your kit on for charity

Pack your lycra and helmet, the Asthma Foundation of WA is on the hunt for individuals to join a team for its 14-day cycle through Vietnam tour in October. For every place booked on the tour, adventure holiday group, World Expeditions, will donate $800 to the foundation, which will be used to assist in the provision of asthma education services in the community and continued medical research into the condition. The fully-escorted tour between October 14 and 27 includes five days of cycling through rural Vietnam, taking in the country’s unique landscapes and culture while sampling its fine cuisine. The $3,590 per person charge (based on twin-share, excluding taxes) will buy you return flights, ex Perth on Thai Airways, all hotel accommodation, transfers, internal group transport, meals listed in the itinerary, an English speaking tour leader, a bike mechanic and fully equipped support vehicle, and of course, the use of a good-quality 21-speed mountain bike. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that while you enjoy the Buddhist temples, green paddy fields, beautiful beaches and charming cities, you’re also getting fit and helping charity all at the same time… Bliss.
