Bentley-based mining services company TeamTech has been acquired by Vancouver-headquartered Gemcom Software International, which will complement the latter's mine performance division.

A Gemcom spokesperson told WA Business News that the TeamTech staff have already been integrated into Gemcom's Perth and West Perth offices.

TeamTech product offerings include components for enterprise systems integration, plant performance optimisation, mining activity optmisation, mineral and metal product management, production accounting, and travel and accommodation bookings.

Its services will be integrated into the Gemcom InSite division.

Since 1998, TeamTech services staff have worked with leading mining companies all over the world, delivering solutions spanning mining and plant operations.

"With the mining industry seeking solutions that increase productivity and reduce costs, I am excited about the additional benefits the TeamTech products and services offer," Gemcom president Rick Moignard said.

"TeamTech brings to Gemcom a wealth of experience in deploying enterprise solutions, along with a strong, profitable business, and a global client base that includes some of the industry's best known players."

Founder and chief executive of TeamTech, Simon Stone, has taken up the new role of product line manager and product evangelist for Gemcom InSite.
