Gastevich re-joins Deloitte

Accounting firm Deloitte has appointed Michael Gastevich as a new Partner in the company's tax practice.

In a statement Deloitte said that Mr Gastevich's primary responsibility will be to focus on the middle market business in Perth.

He is returning to Deloitte after working in the company's Melbourne office.

Mr Gastevich previously worked as an assistance group tax manager at OneSteel and was a partner at BDO in Perth.

Deloitte national tax leader John Womack said he was pleased to see the return of a Deloitte alumnus.

"Since Michael's original stint with Deloitte, he has developed a very strong tax background and has gained invaluable experience having worked both for, and as the client," said Mr Womack.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome him back to Deloitte."
