Rolex Basel special showing
THE new Rolex Basel collection will be on display at Western Australia's only authorised Rolex dealer, Rosendorff, from July 12 to July 20 as it makes its worldwide journey following the April launch in Switzerland.
The Rolex Basel Collection ranges from $5,250 to $77,350 and is made up of eight new models and 51 new dial options. Two standout pieces within the collection are the Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA (pictured) and the Day-Date II. Priced at $10,905, the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA is described as a new-generation diver's watch. It is waterproof to an extreme depth of 3,900 metres.
The watch is equipped with a ringlock system, a new case architecture patented by Rolex, which allows the watch to resist the pressure exerted by water at great depths.
The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date II is available in 18 carat yellow, white or everose gold, and platinum, and is known as "the watch of decision makers and influential personalities". Buyers can exclusively order pieces from the Basel Collection at Rosendorff, with private viewings available by appointment.
Soft touch for tough guys
THE media blurb says not to expect flowers, waterfalls, inspirational artworks or Enya; but Perth's newest male grooming venue, Guys Grooming, will deliver on its commitment to rebuild, repair and maintain men in a masculine environment. Busy executives can drop in to Guy's Grooming in Central Arcade between 8am and 10am for a morning shave, coffee and toast or muffin for $39. Other services include hair styling and colouring, facials, massage and hand and feet detailing.
