THE IMPACT of the GST will be discussed in a series of intensive Leschenault Business Enterprise Centre workshops from 22 to 23 September.
The workshops will detail the latest information on the overall tax reform package including Pay As You Go and the proposed changes to trusts, depreciation, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax.
Leschenault Business Enter-prise Centre manager Alison Lannin said in some situations, GST payments have to be remitted to the Tax Office prior to being paid for goods and services by clients.
All sessions will be held on the 10th floor of the Bunbury Tower.
The 22 September sessions are as follows:
• Session 1: GST & Property Development and Investment Workshop – 7:30am to 9:30am
• Session 2: Retail Industry and GST workshop – 10:30am to 12:30pm
• Session 3: Manufacturing and GST workshop – 2:00pm to 4:00pm
• Session 4: PAYG & tax reform seminar – 7:30pm to 9:30pm
The 23 September sessions are:
• Session 5: Health & GST workshop – 7:30am to 9:30am
• Session 6: Professional practices and GST workshop – 10:30am to 12:30pm
