The engineering arm of Perth-based company GRD Ltd has been awarded a contract to work on Discovery Metals Ltd's Boseto copper project in Botswana.
The GRD Minproc office in Johannesburg will undertake the engineering work as part of the mining company's bankable feasibility study, while Snowden Mining Industry Consultants will carry out the resource modeling, geotechnical and mining engineering components.
The study is scheduled to be completed mid next year and first copper production is expected in early 2011.
