GRD Minproc appoints SA chair

GRD Minproc has appointed Richard Linnell chairman of its South African subsidiary.

Since retiring from a full time position at BHP Billiton three years ago, Mr Linnell has been involved in risk amelioration and risk management in the African context and has interacted with the World Bank and its associates IFC and MIGA.

He is currently a non-executive director of BHP Billiton SA Ltd, a director of the D Group in South Australia, a director of the Businessmap Foundation, non-executive chairman of Golden Valley Mines, and non-executive chairman of Gold Mines of Algeria.
